For the third time in successive seasons, Donavan Brazier has broken the American Record for 800m indoors.

Making his season debut at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, Brazier was never challenged and won the men’s 800m in 1:44.21, taking 0.01 seconds off the mark he set at last year’s Millrose Games. With the victory, Brazier also earned his fifth consecutive win at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.
