Andrew Wheating took home his first international gold medal today, wiinning the 1500m at the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, in a time of 3:41.41. In doing so, Wheating is now the first American man to win the 1500m at the Pan American Games since Don Paige took home gold at the 1979 edition in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
