Gebremariam over T. Bekele in Spanish Cross Country
ALCOBENDAS, Spain - Former IAAF World Junior Cross Country Champion Gebre Gebremariam outkicked compatriot Tariku Bekele in the 27th 'Cross Internacional de la Constitución', over a muddy course located just outside of Madrid. Having dropped all the other competitors by the final kilometer, it was only in the last 150m that Gebremariam managed to get the edge on Bekele, crossing the finish line with a one second margin of victory.
