Background

At Ypsilanti High School, there was very little that Tiffany Ofili couldn't do. As an athlete, Tiffany had few peers. She claimed state titles in the 100m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles, the Long Jump and as a member of her Ypsilanti's 4x100m Relay Team. Off the track she was equally as successful, graduating as Class Salutatorian and as a member of the National Honor Society.

And while Ypsilanti is known as the home of the Eastern Michigan Eagles, it was Coach James Henry of the University of Michigan that lured Tiffany to Ann Arbor. The decision quickly proved to be a fruitful one, as Tiffany claimed her first Big-Ten title in the 100m Hurdles in her first track season as a Wolverine. As a sophomore, she won her first NCAA championship in the 100m Hurdles, a feat she followed up with two more consecutive outdoor titles, as well as NCAA indoor wins in the 60m Hurdles in 2008 and 2009.

After her final NCAA Championships, Tiffany signed an endorsement deal with adidas and made her professional debut at the USATF Championships in Eugene, Oregon, where she finished fourth.
