Background
One of the greatest distance runners in Georgetown history, Rod Koborsi holds three school records: for 3000 meters, 5000 meters and 10,000 meters outdoors. After long dreaming of a professional career but never thinking it would happen, he began to think seriously about it after finishing fourth in the NCAA 10,000 meters as a senior; by the end of 2006 he was ranked #6 in the U.S. by Track & Field News magazine.
A 2005 graduate of the Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business with a degree in finance, Rod received his master’s degree in international affairs in May 2008. He is especially interested in the area of economic development. Currently, he is an assistant coach for the Hoyas.
