Background
Tadesse competes for the Banks club, which has also been responsible for the development of Ethiopian stars Gebre Gebremariam, Werknesh Kidane and Meseret Defar. Her 800-1500m victories in April 2004 at the Addis Ababa Municipal Athletics Championships constituted the first double in the event’s history. In 2005, Tadesse won the Golden Gala in Rome, undoubtedly the biggest victory of her career so far, in a then-personal best of 4:40.95 |
