Rai Benjamin, the equal third-fastest 400m hurdler in history, opened his outdoor season in style, running a lifetime best 44.31 for the flat 400m, taking a third of a second off of his lifetime best. At 44.31, Benjamin now owns the second-fastest time in the world at the distance.
