Raevyn Rogers announces professional contract with Nike, Inc.
Raevyn Rogers, a five-time NCAA Champion at 800m indoors and outdoors at the University of Oregon, has announced the signing of a professional endorsement contract with Nike, Inc. Rogers, originally from Houston, Texas, has been the NCAA's dominant 800m runner for the last three years, having won every NCAA outdoor title at 800m since 2015 as well as the last two NCAA Indoor Championships. At the Mt. SAC Relays in April, Rogers ran a lifetime best of 1:59.10 to break the NCAA Record that had been held since 1990 by Suzy Favor Hamilton. In her final race for the Oregon Ducks, Rogers ran the anchor leg on victorious Oregon's 4x400m Relay squad.
